From November 20 to 22, the annual meeting of the Sociedade Portuguesa de Genética Humana takes place in Coimbra at the Convento de São Francisco. The event brings together clinicians, researchers and companies working to improve variant assessment.
This year, the team joins the meeting together with Microgene, the official partner in Portugal. The focus is on two tools that help laboratories handle common challenges in variant interpretation. Many teams still face long analysis times, heavy manual review and results that can vary.
With eVai and VarChat, the goal is to support labs in making variant interpretation more accurate, faster and more consistent, giving clinicians time to focus on patient cases while reducing the effort required to review large variant lists.
The meeting is a chance to speak with teams in Portugal, understand their needs and show how these solutions can support daily diagnostic work.
