Efficient variant assessment at GfH 2026 in Munich
enGenome will talk on March 14th, 2026 on variant assessment made efficient
10 February 2026

The Annual Meeting of the German Society of Human Genetics (GfH) will take place in Munich from March 4–6, 2026, bringing together clinicians, researchers, and laboratory professionals to discuss the latest developments in human genetics and genomic diagnostics.

Among the participants this year is enGenome, which will exhibit at booth #8.

Workshop on efficient variant assessment

As part of the program, Susanna Zucca, CSO at enGenome, will present a session titled:

From data to diagnosis: variant assessment made efficient

  • Wednesday, March 4th | 12:00–12:30

  • Room Orion I + II

The presentation will address a central challenge in modern clinical genomics: translating increasing volumes of sequencing data into reliable and actionable diagnostic conclusions. As next-generation sequencing continues to expand in routine care, laboratories must balance efficiency with accuracy, traceability, and adherence to established guidelines.

Supporting clinical genomics in Germany

The GfH Annual Meeting provides a forum for discussing how clinical expertise, computational tools, and regulatory standards can work together to strengthen genomic interpretation practices.

Attendees interested in discussing approaches to efficient and scalable variant interpretation are invited to visit booth #8 during the conference.

About enGenome

enGenome offers innovative solutions for interpreting sequencing data. eVai, the flagship product, is a cloud-based solution fueled by artificial intelligence, that excels in prioritizing genetic variants and has been awarded by the NIH-funded CAGI6 challenge as best performing predictor, elevating diagnostic yield by 12.5%.

The latest release is VarChat, an open-access platform integrating Generative AI that searches and delivers informative text from current scientific literature on genetic variants.
